080127 Pokemon-training Kids

I felt like drawing Hideo with his Cyndaquil, but ended up wondering exactly what he looked like as a kid, so I drew him and Ayumi when they were about 10 years old and first received their pokemon. Beneath them is their starter: Hideo his Cyndaquil, and Ayumi her Chikorita. X3 I left in the sketchy lines so you guys could see how I drew the pokemon.

PS: Yes, I know that Hideo's skin tone is totally different here, but this is more of the color that I originally wanted. He has naturally tanned skin, kinda' like Brock. Ayumi has more of the generic skin tone, kinda' like Ash. She's not as pale as Misty or the other girls.
