i wonder what she'll say... probably accuse me of soiling Buwaro in some way... as though i'd raped him or something. hmmm... i'll tell her about it sometime. i wonder what she'll do, but it'll probably have something to do with me being forced to hold the phone away from my ear in agony. XD
"It's all very cute and appealing in composition, and I personally find that it does look rather good without color as well as with it. (at least, as I visualize it in my minds eye. I have no real way of differntiating between line-changes after the coloring and your original intent; if anything was changed line-wise during the CG process, I'll have interperated it as part of the original.)"
It's part of what I said here. [link]
And think part of what makes your artwork shine, is the character expression. You enjoy showing those expressions, and the expressions show clearly from the characters. (Things usually turn out better when you enjoy them yourself. )
(I'm sure I saw the line-art in your scraps, so I'll be heading to check that out soon. )
You two make a good team. Please continue the good work.
(I enjoy ~raizy's work, and have actually spent a lot of time looking through it all. (Sheezyart, deviantArt, and Raizap.com) After getting $20 worth of comissions from her, I kinda hope to scrape together some more money and get some more sketches. There's a lot I can learn from viewing the original sketches up close. (as scans tend not to pick up faint pre-sketch lines that help in understand how an artist set's up their work... I could go on all day about sketches. xDI should buy picture frames for them...)
i'm glad you enjoy both my work and Chu's. i have a hard time believing that our work could be mistaken for each others, but soon you'll be able to tell the difference quickly, i suppose. [shrugs] please don't ever accuse someone of lying about their art.
Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't accusing either of you of lying about the art. I just mean that is simething had to be changed during the coloring prosses, I wouldn't have been able to identify those changes. After seeing the lineart, I knew nothing had changed aside from the white space.
I can tell the diffrence when I see them seperately, but as a collab. I can never be sure.
I had to learn that through a series of mistaken ideteification at ~amade's gallery. (As he tends to do a lot of collabs when he's around, and it was sometimes not easy to tell where the original line-art began and ended from the colors which had a very painteresque feel to them. X.x )
I get the feeling I'm probably confusing you.
you're not confusing me at all. just be more careful next time and choose your words carefully. it was hurtful to think that Chu and I drew the same because we have completely different styles and it made me feel as if i weren't original.
you should be a lot more careful because at the rate we're going, Chu and I are going to be doing a lot more collabs. you have to remember that people tend to do a ton of collabs all over the place. [shrugs] it's weird, but fun. i think it bonds people together a lot better than just having a drawing-jam session would do. beats me.
You're absolutely right. ^^ Lol, a expression fetish, huh? ^_^;; Well, either way you look at it, you are amazingly good at creating some good expressions. It really brings your compositions to life. ^___^
=^^= Thanks! I'm really glad they seem life-like. It makes me feel all warm inside when someone can relate with the characters I create, or when I successfully draw the expression just right so everyone know's what they're thinking or going through. ^^
