Personality:
Teiwaz is a determined dwarf with a mean right-hook. Although appearing very serious in demeanor, he has a dry wit and uses it sparingly to break up the mood. He is curious by nature, though he keeps it in check for safety's sake. He is adventurous and competitive with other Wardens he encounters and sometimes travels with. He can be frugal with lodgings, but is more than willing to spend a pretty penny on ale and the opportunity to have a pretty young maid sit on his lap. When he has nothing to say and can be dreadfully honest.

Origin:
Teiwaz was born to a humble Smithing family in Orzammar. Being from a Smithing family meant that Teiwaz's fate was pre-determined for him. And although he was decent enough with a hammer, he still felt out of place making weapons and never using them. He made a habit of testing out weapons his father made before they were sold, mostly to his father's distaste.

Teiwaz was a curious child at heart and would sometimes wander around Orzammar and find his way into places he typically shouldn't go. He got his knuckles rapped a few times in his youth. Still, he finished his chores and earned his free time.

One day, when lingering by the gates to Orzammar he spied a Warden coming into the city. Looking as though he'd spent his night in battles, Teiwaz appeared and offered the Warden a place to stay. His parents almost turned the man away, but when he offered to pay and asked for his sword to be sharpened, Teiwaz's father agreed to let the Warden spend the night while he worked on the blade.

Teiwaz saw to the Warden himself and chatted with him when he wasn't sleeping. He asked about what it was to be a Warden. What was the surface like? Having spent his entire life underground, Teiwaz couldn't help but wonder about the surface that he'd been encouraged not to think about. He spoke with the Warden a long time before deciding he too wanted to become a Warden. It was one thing to go into the Deep Roads and die fighting Darkspawn and be forgotten, but to become a Warden and be recognized for their efforts? The glory!

Much to his family's behest, the young Teiwaz joined the Warden in his journeys and made his way up to the surface, where upon surviving the trials he was inevitably put through, Teiwaz became a Warden.

Many years later, Teiwaz is still as determined to be as good a Warden he can be and protect the world he lives in and its people.

- He wears a small sword pendant he made when he still lived in Orzammar under his armor as a good luck charm.
