Personality: Ian is an active child with an affinity for movement. He likes all kinds of physical activities and can be easily tricked into playing a game that is, in fact, a form of chore (i.e. Who can pick up all the sticks and put them in this here box first?). Although sweet and good-natured, he's highly competitive when it comes to comparing with his older sister Roxanne. Out of habit, the pair try to one-up each other in a variety of things. When it comes to people who aren't his sister, Ian can be extremely patient and often tries to give his own brand of 'sage advice'. However, when it comes to his sister the pair are like two hissing and fighting cats. This doesn't mean he doesn't love his sister, but they simply can't stop fighting about something or other. Ian is quick to make friends and optimistic when it comes to viewing the world. Although he's used to the hard life of living and working on a farm, he has been, for the lack of a better word, spoiled by his fortunate existence.

Origin: Ian's parents (Richard and Isana) married after a prosperous harvest that led Isana to believe that Richard would always be able to support the family they intended to build together. Having grown up in the same village so small that everyone new everybody, it was no surprise when the two, who had been close friends as children, rivals as teenagers and later the interest of every match making meddler in the village, got married. As Richard had inherited his family's farm, Isana's parents had no qualms about the two marrying.
Together they had two children: Roxanne and then closely afterward, Ian. And although life on the farm was as you'd expect from living on a farm, it was good and peaceful, just as Richard and Isana wanted it to be.

Destiny: Although Ian will undoubtedly inherit the farm from his parents, his real dream is to see the world outside of the village and nearby towns.

Extra:
 - Ian has a woven bracelet that's a gift from his sister Roxanne. It was to apologize for breaking one of his toys. Ian in turn made Roxanne a necklace with a pretty pebble pendant.
